NT AFFILIATES VOTE TO DISSOLVE

Northern Territory will take their place under Touch Football Australia’s Unitary Model after a decision to dissolve the state association as of June 30^th 2006.

The unanimous decision was made on April 30^th at a Special General Meeting held in Darwin.

By dissolving the state association, NT hopes to provide a more efficient management service to its members and continue to develop and consolidate Touch in the Northern Territory.

NT Executive Officer, Isobel Appo looks forward to providing an improved service for players in the Northern Territory.

“The decision will help players by freeing up more time for development for the sport in the Territory and hopefully more funds can be generated to be put back into the sport to benefit everyone and keep things cheaper at the affiliate level.”

During the meeting it was declared that Michelle Caspani, Jenny Grey, Sandra Kickett, Michael Lloyd and Narelle Randall will sit as the Executive Council for NT representing the NT affiliates of TFA.
